Eagle Eye Projects & Events was proud to organise the HACSA Tech4Girls Cohort 5 Graduation Ceremony, a memorable celebration of digital learning, innovation, leadership and the achievements of young women preparing to build their futures in technology.
Held in Accra on 29 September 2026, the graduation marked a significant milestone for 80 young women who successfully completed the fifth cohort of the Tech4Girls programme, an initiative of the Heritage and Cultural Society of Africa (HACSA) Foundation. The occasion celebrated the graduates’ dedication, growth and readiness to apply their newly acquired skills to real-world opportunities.
The ceremony also marked the official launch of the HACSA@10 Sankofa Summit 2026, bringing together two important milestones in HACSA’s journey of education, empowerment and community development.

Empowering Women Through Digital Skills
Tech4Girls is a hands-on learning programme designed to equip girls and women with practical digital skills and prepare them for opportunities in the growing technology industry.
Through training in areas such as coding, artificial intelligence (AI), digital literacy, web development and cybersecurity, the programme seeks to strengthen participants’ technical capabilities while encouraging entrepreneurship, leadership, problem-solving and professional development.
Beyond the classroom, Tech4Girls aims to create pathways for graduates to apply their knowledge, develop innovative solutions, access mentorship and pursue meaningful career opportunities.
The Cohort 5 graduation represented the culmination of this learning journey and an important step towards greater participation by women in technology and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
A Celebration of Achievement and Innovation
The graduation ceremony brought together distinguished guests, government representatives, development partners, mentors, families and members of the HACSA community to recognise the achievements of the graduating scholars.
Among the distinguished guests were H.E. Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, who attended as Special Guest of Honour, and H.E. Zia Choudhury, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ghana.
A major highlight of the event was the series of keynote addresses and presentations, which underscored the importance of equipping young women with the knowledge, confidence and opportunities needed to participate in an increasingly technology-driven world.
The programme also featured scholar testimonials, a documentary showcasing the Cohort 5 journey, hackathon presentations and the presentation of Outstanding Scholar Awards.
These activities offered an opportunity to celebrate the graduates’ progress, showcase their creativity and recognise individuals who demonstrated exceptional commitment and achievement throughout the programme.
The hackathon presentations were particularly significant, highlighting how the scholars could apply their technical knowledge, collaborative abilities and problem-solving skills to develop ideas and solutions.

Eagle Eye Projects & Events Behind a Memorable Occasion
As the event organiser, Eagle Eye Projects & Events played a key role in bringing together the elements of the graduation ceremony to create a professional and memorable experience for HACSA, its graduates and invited guests.
Organising an event of this significance requires careful planning, coordination and execution to ensure that the programme flows effectively and that important moments receive the attention they deserve.
From coordinating the event experience to supporting the successful delivery of the ceremony, Eagle Eye Projects & Events was proud to contribute to a celebration centred on education, digital inclusion, innovation and female empowerment.
The event provided a platform for graduates to celebrate their accomplishments, for families and mentors to recognise their progress, and for stakeholders to reflect on the importance of continued investment in technology education for women and girls.
For Eagle Eye Projects & Events, the assignment demonstrated the value of professional event organisation in creating meaningful platforms where organisations can celebrate milestones, communicate their impact and connect with their communities.
Celebrating the Next Generation of Women in Technology
The Tech4Girls initiative reflects the growing importance of ensuring that women have access to digital education, technical training and opportunities to participate in the technology sector.
As technology continues to influence industries, businesses and everyday life, programmes that develop digital skills and encourage innovation can help prepare more women to contribute to the digital economy.
By combining technical education with leadership development, entrepreneurship and mentorship, HACSA’s Tech4Girls programme seeks to help its scholars move beyond learning digital concepts towards applying their skills in practical and professional settings.
The graduation of Cohort 5 therefore represented more than the completion of a training programme. It celebrated the determination, potential and ambition of young women taking steps towards careers in technology and other emerging fields.
HACSA at 10: Celebrating Impact and Looking Ahead
The ceremony also marked the launch of the HACSA@10 Sankofa Summit 2026, connecting the achievements of the Tech4Girls graduates with HACSA’s broader milestone of celebrating a decade of impact.
The launch provided an opportunity to reflect on the organisation’s work in education, innovation, heritage and community development, while looking ahead to new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
The combination of the graduation and summit launch made the occasion especially significant, celebrating both individual achievement and the continued work of an organisation committed to empowering people and communities.
